SpecTec Cruise is proud to be part of the Volaris Group, a “buy and hold” acquirer dedicated to the long-term success of its companies and leaders. This commitment to sustainable growth was on full display at Quadrants 2024.
Recently held in Cancun, from October 20-24, Quadrants brought together the largest gathering of vertical market software leaders in the world, providing a powerful platform for meaningful connection, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration with like-minded business leaders – 1,300 of them to be precise.
Some of the SpecTec Cruise Leadership Team, including: Malcolm Youngson, Chris Brown, Thomas Coleman, Roddy MacLennan, Nazrul Miah, Lauren Goggin, and Craig Delane, engaged in sessions focused on key pillars of Volaris’s success:
- A commitment to customer-centricity
- A long-term technology vision
- Cultivating talented teams
The team explored how maintaining an unrelenting focus on customer needs can drive innovation and strengthen relationships, empowering them to exceed client expectations consistently.
Equally important was the focus on a customer driven, long-term technology vision. Sessions highlighted the need to invest wisely in technology that not only addresses today’s challenges but anticipates future needs, ensuring continued relevance and value for clients.
A standout theme at Quadrants 2024 was the growth of talent within each business. Recognizing that skilled, motivated people are central to success, the sessions explored strategies for nurturing and developing team members. Discussions around mentorship, training, and creating pathways for leadership provided valuable insights on fostering a strong, resilient workforce prepared for the future.
Quadrants 2024 was an inspiring experience for SpecTec Cruise’s Leadership, who returned from Cancun with fresh insights and renewed commitment to their customer-first approach, their technology roadmap, and the development of talented individuals – all vital to sustainable, long-term growth.
Here’s what some of the team had to say about their experience, and the key learnings they took away from the event:
“It is clear that people are absolutely central to everything we do and achieve, and we must continue to focus on our talent to develop and retain our people, ultimately giving us a competitive edge. The message from our top management team was that diversity leads to better business decisions, so it is crucial that we focus on fostering a diverse, inclusive and equitable culture where people feel like they belong, thrive and flourish”
Lauren Goggin , People Director
