About Me:
I am the Commercial Director at SpecTec Cruise. I absolutely love the SpecTec Cruise business and the work we do. I am personally focused on ensuring we engage closely with our valued customers, ensuring business needs are met and that we are maximizing value out of AMOS. A current focus is making sure our customers are well educated and up to date on technology developments so they can capitalize on the new tech available. Most importantly though, I am a strong believer in ensuring we build shared engagement plans based on delivering business outcomes. This ensures continuous improvement and any investments made are well justified and deliver benefits.
Why I Love Cruise:
The Cruise industry is simply awesome and right now a very exciting place to be. We have the privilege of working with fascinating customers, operating what I can only describe as engineering masterpieces. I value the necessity of our technology in ensuring smooth sailing for the world's largest cruise ships. Importantly, the cruise is special because the people are. The opportunity to work with talented leaders on a daily basis is something I cherish very much.
Something Interesting About me:
I have a real passion for the great outdoors. Living close to the peak district in the UK means I have the opportunity to walk some truly stunning routes.

About me:
I am head of Professional Services at SpecTec Cruise. My passion is ensuring we deliver the highest quality solutions to our customers to ensure they maximize the value of their AMOS platform and investment made. I have over 18 years of experience delivering technology to the maritime market, and before that I worked onboard numerous ships around the world.
Why I Love Cruise:
Every day, I am involved in delivering improvements to cruise organizations. This may be technology delivery or perhaps process improvement and optimization. All focused on simplifying how they work to drive efficiency. In addition, cruise operators have a phenomenal opportunity to leverage the data their fleets produce to drive operational and financial optimization. It is great that I can be influential in supporting them to do this.
Something Interesting About me:
I love to continually learn, whether that be through reading, listening or watching content. My current favorite is ‘Event Horizon’ a YouTube podcast. I am also a massive foody and love to cook on the weekends for my family and friends.

About Me:
I am currently the Director of ServicePlus Operations. ServicePlus is our Managed Services Group within SpecTec Cruise, a function dedicated to key client partnerships. It enhances customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and development partnerships for products and services.
Why I Love Cruise:
The Cruise Industry is unique as it’s functions and purposes cover a wide variety of specialities seen anywhere else as just one business – Marine Deck and Engine, Marine Safety, Hospitality, Travel and Leisure, and Dining. It is a diverse business focused on all these disciplines working together on a vessel. It’s these unique challenges and disciplines that keep me motivated and curious about what we can do next.
Something Interesting About Me:
I have a long family history in the US Navy and Seafaring, from my parents and grandparents all the way back to 1775 as a descendant of the O’Brien brothers who captured HMS Margaretta. It is considered the first time British colors were struck to those of the United States, even though the Continental Navy did not exist at the time. It’s a sizeable challenge, but I love the fact that the cruise tech industry is at the forefront of innovation and I’m in an environment with global development teams bringing their rich cultures and different attitudes together to create solutions that deliver what our customers need. This constant evolution can be incredibly exciting for tech enthusiasts.

Originally from Scotland, I have spent the majority of my life living and working overseas, with more than 20 years spent in Italy. Living abroad has given me a unique perspective on culture, diversity, and adaptability. I am passionate about traveling, exploring new foods, and immersing myself in the rich and diverse cultures of the places I visit. Every journey is an opportunity to learn and grow, and I continue to enjoy discovering new experiences and meeting new people around the world.
